Download: Track 6- banking.mp3 [7.68Mb, 6 minutes]
Banks impose fees and charges for looking after your money. They offer different interest rates on savings too. Have a look at how much interest you’re getting on your accounts and what you're paying in fees and charges. Shop around: if you think you could be doing better somewhere else, it might be worth changing providers. You could also talk to your bank and ask how they could reduce the fees you pay and improve the interest you’re earning on your savings.
